  • We have an excellent fleet of brand new 2025 Aventon Pace electric bikes! These bikes have 4 pedal assist levels with an intuitive torque sensor to help you set the pace and ride with ease. Ride comfortably with its cushioned saddle, swept-back handlebars, step through frame, and an upright riding position. Our bikes are regularly maintained and come equipped with necessary accessories like locks, baskets, and helmets. Bike bags available for rent. 

  • Renting a bike for your vacation is easy:

    1. Select your dates: Choose from daily or weekend rentals! Week-long rentals are also available - please contact us directly if you are interested! 
    2. Book your rental: You can reserve your bike directly through our website. You'll need to provide your rental dates, enter your contact information, and complete our new renter profile/waiver. Payment is due in full at the time of booking. 
    3. Select your delivery location: We can deliver directly to your home, airbnb, or hotel! We can also deliver to pre-determined drop off locations in Mystic and surrounding towns. 
    4. Enjoy your ride: Explore your destination at your own pace. Our bikes come with a map and recommended routes to enhance your cycling experience.
    5. Return the bike: After your rental period is over, you can arrange for us to pick up the bikes from your location, or we can have you lock them up at the nearest bike rack for later pick-up. 

  • All bikes are inspected and maintained before and after every ride. We also follow a strict monthly and seasonal maintenance schedule.  We only rent our bikes once per day so that we can make sure that your bike is charged and ready to go! 

  • At Coastal Current E-Bikes, your safety is our top priority. That is why we include a helmet, bike lights, and an optional safety vest with every bike rental. 

    As for what you need to bring, we recommend bright colored athletic clothing (padded bike shorts are a bonus!), sunscreen, water, and snacks!
